Small start, serious trajectory. Originally labeled “Pure Red Crystallinum (CC1 × CC2),” this established juvenile currently carries four compact velvet leaves with luminous silver-green venation, softly tapered tips, and a subtle warm blush at the sinus.

This plant was acquired from Nick Cook of BowTie Plants as an exceptionally tiny seedling and grown on within the Plant Gallery collection. The exact plant pictured is the plant you will receive.

“Pure Red” refers to the supplied lineage label. Color intensity, leaf shape, and venation may continue to evolve as the plant matures, and future expression cannot be guaranteed.

Gallery Notes

Started almost impossibly small. Four leaves later, the velvet is settling in...and the best part of the story is still ahead.

Good to Know

Velvet Anthuriums can react to shipping or environmental changes by marking or retiring an older leaf. Give the plant time to settle before repotting or making major changes to its growing conditions.

Each plant is carefully secured and presented through Plant Gallery’s elevated collector packaging experience.
