Puckered texture, pale veins, and gently wavering edges—three distinct expressions of a cross now growing out within Plant Gallery.
Sourced from Justin Gurski of Fuzzy Petioles, these seedlings combine his Anthurium carlablackiae × warocqueanum with a seed-grown selection of SKG “Chocolate Crystal” × self. Justin describes the seed parent’s distinctive puckered margins and elongated form, while the pollen parent brings striking venation and emergent foliage that can range from brown-green to deep red.
Here at Plant Gallery, the seedlings are showing their own differences in shape, venation, and softly ruffled edges. Their mature expression is still unfolding.
